"Work safe. Home Safe. Always Safe" "Zero Harm - Stop. Think. Act."
"Being Safe is Everything" "Staying Safe is No Accident"
These are just some of the slogans used by our clients that reflect how seriously they take OHS in their workplaces.
OHS video is an excellent medium to reinforce this culture.

As one of Australia's leading developers and managers of retirement communities and aged care facilities, Primelife recognised that manual handling had become a monumental problem in their industry. Mr Para Kuhadis was appointed as PrimeLife's OHS advisor to address the problem.
One of the cornerstones of his strategy was appointing Channel 1 to produce a 12 minute DVD fully explaining PrimeLife's new manual handling training direction. It successfully introduced both new and existing staff to the philosophies and principles of Minimal Lift.
The manual handling innovations and action plan more than paid for itself seeing PrimeLife, in the space of less than 12 months, achieve these amazing results:
-
The weeks lost per WorkCover claim were reduced by 68%
-
Cost per WorkCover claim also reduced by 68%
-
Worker's compensation payments reduced by 20%
-
A 20% reduction in the incidence of skin tears and bruises on residents caused by incorrect transfer techniques.
These outstanding achievements earned Para and his team the "Best Injury Prevention Plan" award for 2006.
When asked, Mr Kuhadas kindly had this to say about the DVD Channel 1 produced for him:
"The DVD they have expertly presented us with has helped significantly in achieving these results of which we are so proud. The proven success of adding visual reinforcement to our training has spurred us on to plan new video projects next year"
At the time of writing, Para has us busy with the said new video projects.
